Followed recipe . Bottom burned and texture like bread. I’ve made better!

these are really good muffins. Since I have a big sweet tooth, I added a little more chocolate chips and now my whole family loves it! To people who think it has a bread consistancy, make it a bread! Instead of putting it in cupcake tins, put it in a loaf tin. I tried it and it really worked. Probobly even better than the muffins.

The best muffins

I am new to baking and I found the instructions in this recipe easy to follow. I would add that being new I made the mistake to use my hands to portion the batter into the tins and should have used a spoon, as a result, I lost a bit of batter.

Not a fan of the batter consistency. Outside cooks a lot faster than inside. Will try a different recipe.

Really came out dry, I suggest adding more banana. But unfortunately not the moody muffins I expected.

I followed recipe and added a cup of shredded Zucchini.

It’s super easy to make. Even my 7 y.o. son could help me with most of the steps. However, I have made some changes of the ingredients: Instead of oil I used unsalted butter, I used brown instead of white sugar and also add vanilla essence into it. They smell and taste yummy!

*7/15/20: I made a 1.5x batch with 3 bananas. The muffin is lighter than I would like and not banana-y enough. I would double the chocolate chips, add some spice, and add some more banana for a stronger flavor. Not bad, just eh as is.

I checked out the reviews before making these. I added double the milk, some vanilla and cinnamon. I also doubled the amount of chips that I added to the recipe. I added half chocolate chip and half caramel chips. The muffins were so moist and delicious! With this amount of chips they are definitely a dessert muffin!

Great recipe used large muffin pan instead, since it’s only myself.

Made a double batch of these delicious banana chocolate chip muffins using 3/4 of a cup of sugar instead of what would’ve been a cup of sugar and the muffins turned out fantastically! We had a lot of black bananas so I ended up using three large bananas and three medium bananas in this recipe. I use silicone baking cups for my muffins which may have an effect on the baking time as the very bottoms are a little overdone. With my next next batch I will try a slightly shorter baking time. They are delicious!

This did not turn out good at all. Very dense – even though I added extra banana and some yogurt and milk.

No changes made. Made it twice. First time I left it too long in the oven. Second time, I shortened the baking time by 5 minutes. If turned out perfectly.

its amazing it turned out sooooo good but the only wrong thing i did is that i didnt spray the cupcake papers so it sticked with the paper

They smell good so far.

400 was too high of a temp, bottoms burnt quickly. Too much flour not enough banana. Don’t like using oil will use butter next time. Tasted ok but I’ve made better muffins. I also added peanut butter chips which added a bit better of taste. Kids liked them somewhat but preferred my other recipes better.

Absolutely fabulous! I used 3 bananas, 3/4 cup of morsels, and added 1 tsp of vanilla and cinnamon. Mine got a bit dark on the bottom so next time I will probably put the oven at 375

They were ok. not moist enough for my taste. I probably wouldn’t make them again. I agree with previous reviewer more like bread and less like a muffin

I doubled the recipe because I had lots of bananas. I substituted a half a cup of flour. So that would be a quarter cup of flour, if you’re doing one recipe. I used almond milk for the milk. I only used 3/4 cup of sugar for the doubled recipe, plus a couple tablespoons of honey. I added about a teaspoon of Mexican vanilla. I loved the texture of the crunchy sweet outside with the cakey soft middle. So much yum.

100% will make again, even the messed uo burnt ones I made are amazing
