Delicious. Customizable to whatever you have, but if you keep the basic recipe, you end up with a really fluffy and tasty quiche! (I used artichoke parm dip, but added sauteed mushroom and spinach). It’s a 5 star AFTER adjusting the temp and time as many reviewers advised: 350º for 35-40 min. YUM.
This is a great way to use up leftover spinach dip (you can also toss in other leftovers, like chopped ham or veggies) and any shredded cheese will work–no need to go out and buy gruyere. I do agree with the other reviewers that the temp and the time are too low. 45 minutes at 350 worked for me.
Delicious! My husband and I loved it. I didn’t have enough dip so I added one more egg and I had to use an Italian cheese blend because I forgot to pick up gruyere. It was still delicious though and next time I’ll make sure I have the right ingredients and I bet it’ll be even better! Also, you should bake your crust about 20-30 mins before filling it or else it won’t be baked through.
This was quick and good. It had a really creamy texture. I think a teaspoon of salt was a little too much. It’s enough salt in the dip.
Lined the crust with cooked crumbled turkey sausage, sautéed mushrooms and small amount of onions before adding egg mixture. Used a spinach dip made with greek yogurt and fat free half and half. Turned out great.
Super delicious recipe and can be easily modified to add more veggies. I was afraid of making quiche…until now. Thanks Jeff Mauro!
Loved it! Super easy to make, follow everyone’s advice, bake it longer
My husband and I really liked this dish and the fact it was so easy did not hurt either. I also found that it needed a little more time in the oven than the recipe called for. I will be making it again tomorrow but I will be using goat cheese–at my husband’s request.
Had party last night and left over spinach artichoke dip and what do u think I made today and LOVED IT?!?!? Added basil, crushed red pepper and diced red pepper and baked 7 extra minutes. YUM
Very easy recipe to make. Definitely need to cook longer at higher temperature. I cooked it for 45min at 350. I used a full cup of cheese. The end result was a very fluffy egg mixture seasoned well with the spinach dip. Next time I will add sautéd onions and either diced bacon or ham. But it was really delicious, fluffy and satisfying.
