Very easy to make and very yummy! Feel of the tropics. This is my new fave! 🙂
I thought this drink recipe was light yet had a nice little kick. I was not disappointed. I am going to make it again.
Note: I made it exactly as the recipe called. No changes and everything was measured.
Maybe you REALLY need to like dark rum to like this or be in love with orange-pineapple juice. I don’t dislike the flavors but when combined in this I wasn’t too thrilled with it. All my guests drank it just for the alcohol but no one was thrilled by it.
I found the rum to be overpowering and the flavoring of the orange-pineapple to clash with it rather than reinforcing the flavor and boosting it. The ginger-ale did nothing but add a tiny bit of fizz that didn’t come as a bonus or a minus.
I’m not much of a drinker but I made this recipe and couldn’t wait to make more!
This recipe went over well with my guests and was truly delicious!!!
