Happy Birthday Sorbet Punch

Ingredients

  1. 3 large scoops lemon sorbet
  2. 3 large scoops mango sorbet
  3. 3 large scoops raspberry sorbet
  4. 46 ounces pineapple juice, chilled
  5. 1 liter ginger ale, chilled
  6. 2 limes, cut into wheels
  7. 2 lemons, cut into wheels
  8. Tequila, for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl, add the scoops of lemon, mango and raspberry sorbet. Add the pineapple juice, then the ginger ale. Garnish with the lime and lemon wheels. If adding tequila, pour it directly into the punch bowl, or add it to individual glasses.

Sherbet Punch recipe has been around for years, but JZ’s twist with the Tequila option to make it an adult drink is a nice new twist.

Made this today for a Mother’s Day luncheon.   Recipe looked interesting, but I wasn’t sure about these ingredients together.  Decided to trust GZ and so glad I did.  It was a big hit, even with the guys!  Didn’t add any alcohol as this was a family party, but I think it would be fantastic with tequila. Will try it next time.
