Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- One 5.1-ounce box instant vanilla pudding
- 2 cups very cold half-and-half
- 1 cup sour cream
- Pinch sea salt
- One 12-ounce tin or 16-ounce box butter cookies
- 1 cup prepared caramel sauce
- 6 large bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a chilled bowl, with chilled beaters, beat the cream and confectioners’ sugar together until soft peaks.
- Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, pudding mix, half-and-half, sour cream and the salt in a large bowl.
- Reserve 4 to 6 cookies for garnish and layer half of the remaining cookies among the bottom of 4 to 6 16-ounce serving dishes (or mason jars), or in a trifle bowl (or other large glass serving dish). Next, drizzle half of the caramel over the cookies, then a layer of half the bananas, then half the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients. Top with the whipped cream and a butter cookie or cookies. Serve or chill up to overnight.

Reviews
Delicious, I’ve made this several times and it is always perfect. I’ll be making it again this weekend. I make it as written, it is very sweet and addicting.
Absolutely love and didn’t change a thing…make it ALL the time
I love this but was so sweet it could put u in a sugar coma so I did some changes and it is beyond great and worth it! When making the pudding mix I used 1/2 sugar free vanilla pudding and the other 1/2 regular vanilla pudding. I also only used 1/2 can of eagle brand milk. I added an extra dollop of sour cream and once it was mixed it looked alittle thick so I added more half & half and tbsp of Mexican vanilla til it was smooth. If it’s too sweet for u please try these changes and you’ll be hooked!
Great
Easy and delicious. Everyone loved it. Will make again.
I made the banana pudding several months ago, and I heard family member’s were sneaking it from others. It is so delicious. I’m going to surprise them with a big dish of it for Christmas.
