Slow Cooker Pork Chops

It employs the simplest ingredients and is a quick and simple coconut ice cream recipe that anyone can create. To suit your personal preference, increase or decrease the sugar by 50%. Personally, I prefer mine to be a little bit sweeter.

Big hit with the family. I had 10 thin cut pork chops and used Montreal Chicken seasoning and 3 cloves of fresh garlic but no powder. Also, I had chicken stock not broth. I think I’d use more stock and less oil next time.

Cooked in 3 hours on high but didn’t have a whole lot of flavor. I put them in a skillet and added onion soup mix and a gravy mix and they tasted great.

I followed this recipe to the letter…truly the worst meal I’d ever made. At least the sides were good…We ate it because we can’t afford to waste food, but it should have only fed the garbage can. Everyone hated it.

You have to sear the chops in a frying pan BEFORE you put them in the crock pot – Otheriwse you are going to have mush! I use bone in chops instead – MUCH JUICIER. You have to get the butcher to cut them thicker for you …. a complete game changer!!! Good luck!

Friends and relatives must have given this recipe its rating because we ran ours down the garbage disposal they were that bad. I followed the ingredients to the letter and the sauce was inedible as were the pork chops. I hate spending time doing preparation just to have to toss expensive food because it tastes so bad.

Made as per recipe exactly. Turned out okay. Didn’t have much flavor; tasted bland. I think it needs more spices. Chops were on the dry side.

The chops were good, tasty, and fall-apart tender. I’m not sure why a 1/4 cup of olive oil was necessary… I used only a DRIZZLE.

This was so tasty and juice. So easy to make. I will make this again. I did not change any thing.

I really liked this recipe. I did adjust the cooking directions. Instead of doing the setting on “High” for 4 hours, I decided on “Low” for 6 hours. The pork chops did not turn out to be dry at all that way. Overall, I would definitely make this again! 🙂

Enjoyed the flavor of the broth, added celery carrots and potato’s also. Unfortunately the pork was dry, can’t figure that out. Going to try it again with chicken see if that comes out moist. I do enjoy this page and all the variety. Thank you

I followed the directions to a “T.” It cooked beautifully, was delicious, and so easy to make. We served it over rice. Wait! I seasoned the pork chops before placing them in the crock pot.

Very tasty and easy.

Delicious and very tender without being dried out. Definitely a keeper!

Changed poltry seasoning to Cajun spice and used tomato bouillon and water instead of broth. Extremely tender and tasty. Thanks for the recipe

With all the spices, I expected more from this. They were very bland, and dry.

I made this recipe and added “Penzey’s FORWARD” spice instead of poultry seasoning and paprika. I used 4 garlic cloves chopped and an onion and browned the meat with a tblsp olive oil. I also added two sliced sweet potato to the crockpot. I did not thicken it very much as my daughter likes it more thin like a soup. I did thicken some as a side gravy for the rest of us. I served it over wide egg noodles. It was a hit! I normally don’t modify but I wanted to use what I had. The recipe alone would be great because my minor additions

I used this as a starting point. I had a small roast that I cut into 4 thick chops. I dried them off and seasoned them with salt and pepper then browned them on both sides in avocado oil. I put a thick layer of frozen peppers and onions in the bottom of my crockpot. Added minced garlic. Added a can of diced tomatoes with the juice. Then mixed a cup or so of hot water with chicken bullion, cumin, paprika, granulated garlic, granulated onion and pepper. I placed the chops over the vegetables and poured the water mixture over all. Cooked 90 minutes on high before switching to low for about 3 hours. I thickened the juices before serving. Chops were fork tender. My husband loved it.

Great flavour. I cooked on low for 1 hour and high for 1 hour so the pork chops wouldn’t dry out. I also added potatoes, carrots, celery and onion. I used 2 cups of vegetable broth and less oil. Before cooking the chops I put them in a bowl of salted water in the fridge for 20 minutes. It helps to make the chops more tender when cooking them. I will definitely try this again but with a pork roast next time.

Oh My Stars! Don’t change a thing except to turn the sauce into a gravy at the end. Served with Dill mashed potatoes. Excellent

Loved the taste I did my in the instant pot it was tender and great. Fixed mashed potatoes and French style green beans . will make this again.

Sadly the pork chops came out dry and pretty much tastless. Perhaps 4 hours on high was too many hours
