My family loves this quick and simple slow cooker dish every time! Rice would be a good side dish for this entrée.

  10. 2 tablespoons cornstarch (Optional)

My son said these were the best pork chops I’ve ever made! The meat fell off the bone. I followed the recipe exactly as written. Excellent!!!

Andy made while grandpa was here. So delicious and easy!

No changes. Pork chops were succulent, sauce was delicious.

Instead of tomato sauce, I used a can of original Rotel, which also added more veggies with the green pepper and about half an onion. The meat was so tender! I served it with white rice. It was so good!!

Good. I only had two bone in pork chops. Forgot about using the cornstarch; didn’t need it. Didn’t have much sauce left over. Slow cooker on high for a few hours.

Made as directed, and it’s now one of our favorite pork chop recipes. Really flavorful! Based on other reviews, cooked the pork chops for 5 hours and they were perfectly done.

Very tasty. I probably should have had more veggies in it. The bag of pre cut veggies was probably no big enough. It seems as though there should be more liquid in it. I made the mistake of using bone in pork chops. The only issue was picking out the bones. All in all a good meal

Delish! I had 6 bone-in chops (3.3 lb total), so doubled the sauce ingredients, and added some garlic. Next time I will use half the amount of brown sugar, but aside from that, I wouldn’t change a thing!! Oh, and do add the extra step to thicken the sauce with cornstarch. Great recipe — thanks for sharing.

I added potatoes which absorb the flavors . My husband liked the recipe.

This was very tasty! Since my chops were thick and butterflied, I added a second can of tomato sauce. However I did not double the brown sugar to keep the sweetness down. Added some minced garlic and extra onion and peppers….it was great! I almost added some fresh mushrooms and may try that next time!

I added a additional 8oz tomato sauce. Was disappointed with results. Pork was still very dry and not tender. I did not care for taste of sauce. Will not make again

This was so incredibly good! My husband asked me to make again the next day! I didn’t change a thing in the recipe other than I didn’t use any green peppers (they don’t like me) yellow, orange, and red. I’ve already made this again 2 times.

This turned out to be a very tasty, simple dish. However, I did (1) season the chops before browning with salt, pepper and garlic powder; (2) scraped the browned bits into the slow cooker with chicken broth; (3) doubled the onion and (4) I cut the time in the slow cooker to 5 hours so that they wouldn’t dry out. Served with rice and green beans and a salad and it was a HIT!

My husband really liked this recipe. The chops were “fall-apart tender” and the sauce was delicious! I cooked it on low for 5 hours and it came out perfect! I made this recipe with regular pork chops (with bone); next time I’ll try it with boneless chops!

Loved the recipe – came out very good after 5 hours.

Just like the stars indicate, I thought it was just OK. I would not make it again. For myself, the sauce was just too ‘tomato-y’ tasting, kind of overpowering the whole dish. Mmehh

The pork chops were tender. The sauce was okay. By no means would I bother thickening it in the future as I have no idea what to put it on other than the pork chops themselves. THe juices would have been fine to spoon over the meat. I only used half the sugar and it was enough for me.

My husband liked it and ate all the leftovers. I wasn’t crazy about it. The likely culprit is the ketchup in the sauce. There’s just something about ketchup in a sauce that usually doesn’t work well with my taste buds, but I was willing to give it a try. We had it over rice.

Delicious! It is easy to put together, too. I added tiny potatoes to the pot.

Excellent recipe – here are the modifications I made: 1. Cut my own pork chop boneless 3/4″ to 1″ thick medallions from a 1 1/2 lb. pork loin 2. Saute each side of meat for about 90 seconds/2 minutes until sealed. 3. Add one Anaheim Chili Pepper then grill all three peppers (blacken the skin all around). Let them cool, then peel and slice the peppers (removing the skin and seeds enhances the flavor & texture). 4. Substitute one 32 oz jar of mild salsa for the tomato sauce. Now a saucy and slightly spicy colorful dish to serve with rice or, as we do, with garlic mashed potatoes.

Very good! A keeper. Will make again soon and add mushrooms.
