Outstanding chocolate raspberry cake. Even though I’m a complete beginner, it has always come out nicely when I’ve made it.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
- kosher salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup barbeque sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, or to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Add pork chops to hot oil in the skillet in a single layer and cook until golden, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, whisk barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and garlic powder together in a bowl for the ‘crack’ sauce. Pour sauce over golden pork chops and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer until pork shops are cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley.

Who would have thought that adding fresh lime juice to barbecue sauce would make it taste so good? We enjoyed this recipe. Even though I told my husband that the recipe was called Pork Chops in a SWEET Barbecue Sauce, the sauce was too sweet for his taste, he said. I will definitely make this again with less brown sugar, as another reviewer suggested.
This was a wonderful simple recipe to make recipe using panrty items. Dinner was ready in 15 minutes. This goes into my saved recipe boo.
It’s the best for a quick pork chop dinner. It’s flavor was delicious. Family loved it.
Fantastic! Will be making this again.
Excellent tecipe
Tasty but slightly tough. May try again sometime but not too soon
Solid recipe, quick and easy. Lots of sauce leftover.
This was very good and easy. I will cut the brown sugar a bit next time. I thought because I didn’t use a very sweet BBQ sauce I could go with the recommended sweetness. Maybe just cut it in half. Quite good. A keeper!
