Love this so much and make it very often!!!
It was easy.
This is not a marinade. It goes on the meat right before and then during cooking. The end result tasted like watered-down barbecue sauce. Won’t make again.
good, but next time no oil
I was skeptical before making this, but I threw caution to the wind. This was the best. We loved the sweetness of the sauce, and the pork chops were juicy and tender. Next, we are going to try the sauce on chicken breasts.
This is my husbands absolute favorite, he asks for it at least twice a month. I do find that letting it marinate in the sauces for about 30 minutes before baking gives it more depth of flavor.
My husband loved them! His exact words, “Save that recipe!”
Easy and delicious
followed directions but they were tough and not the flavor I expected.
I made this last night and got told – I don’t really like pork usually but this is really good! I used good quality pork chops and made sure I rested them for about 10 mins at the end. Tender, flavoursome and delicious
Not bad flavor, I used one less tblsp of vinegar, but needed more sugar. I used thick chops and would have overcooked them, took only 30-40 minutes.
I’ve made this several times. It’s easy and delicious. Even moderate calories. I use regular tomato sauce since that’s what I have in my fridge.
I use this recipe as a 24 hour marinade for grilled pork chops. Grilled on low heat for about 45 minutes and baste with remainkng marinade while on the grill. They’re amazing.
Have made this using both pork chops & lamb steaks though tripled recipe. I substitute lemon juice for white vinegar & the soy sauce for sweet soy sauce. Bake in porcelain baking dish for easy cleaning. Delish! Very happy family!! Thank you!
Tender & tasty with minimal effort. Added fresh garlic to the sauce.
Love this dish and have made it many times. Simple and flavorful. One would think that since the chops are not marinated for hours there would be no flavor, but that is not the case.
was really good and easy. Didn’t have a lemon so I left it out. Didn’t made a difference.
Excellent and easy. Everyone loves it Double sauce to put over rice
This was very tasty. I followed the recipe exactly except I seasoned the pork chops with salt and pepper before adding the sauce. I used low sodium soy sauce since it was all I had.
I enjoyed making this recipe! Thank you for posting it. I read some of the comments and noticed that there were some variations. I like that! A recipe should be a starting place for innovation in cooking and baking.
The whole family loved these chops! Even my 13 years old who is picky about eating meat was like OMG those were soooooo good mom!!!!
