Our family has been using this pineapple glaze for ham over the holidays for years! Any ham that is still on the plate tastes great with additional fresh pineapple.

- Bake ham in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- While ham bakes, mix pineapple juice and brown sugar in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium power until glaze is boiling and slightly thickened. Work carefully because glaze will be sticky and very hot.

- Pour 1/2 of the glaze evenly over ham and pineapple rings. Bake ham for 30 minutes more, then pour remaining glaze over ham.

- Continue baking ham until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of ham reads 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), 30 to 60 minutes more.
- Enjoy!

Reviews
it took 2 hours to thicken the glaze , by then the ham was done we used tons of brown sugar added honey and syrup , cornstartch nothing really helped
Awesome
This made a perfect Easter dinner!
Yummy
Delicious and I added cherries
Glaze was delicious – once I got it to thicken! After 15 minutes in the microwave, I gave up and mixed a tablespoon of cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water, whisked until smooth, added to the glaze, and microwaved for one minute on high. Worked like a charm. Two tablespoons of cornstarch would be better – my glaze was a little runny still. I skipped the fresh pineapple entirely, and dropped apple halves in the bottom of the pan halfway through cooking instead. They were delicious. I’ll cover the ham with aluminum foil during cooking next time, it was a little dry.
We rarely eat ham but this made for a tasty Easter treat! I used canned crushed pineapple with the brown sugar instead of rings. We thought it turned out great!
Had good flavor and easy to make!
Made this a few moneys back and we really enjoyed the taste of it Thanks
This was the first time I made a ham and it turned out awesome. I didn’t use fresh pineapple, just canned and I only used half the brown sugar at my daughter’s request. Turned out delicious!
I loved the taste of this recipe. Not complicated either.
I used a 3 lb Ham and cut everything in half.
I didn’t use the fresh pineapple and I used 1 can in natural juice and also added a 1/4 cup Jack Daniels bourbon. I put on ham before cooking and in between spiral layers. My oven was broke so cooked on BBQ in pan and foil top, it turned out good. Didn’t brown up like I would have liked. I would make this again.
I didn’t quite have enough brown sugar for a full cup so I used a little bit under a cup but it still turned out good the only reason why I could not give it a full five stars is because my husband said he liked the way the ham tasted before I put the glaze on. We will be making this again! Thank you so much for this easy recipe
Great, tender, sweetens ham and I made it even easier. I used canned pineapple chunks and additionally put some of the pineapple juice on it before putting it in the oven. This got rave reviews.
This was simple and a great go-to for a quick glaze. I used a smoked, bone-in ham. I think the smokiness was a perfect complement to the sweetness of the glaze. I used two cans of pineapple chunks, and I did not do the toothpick part.
Everyone loved the ham. It was very moist.
this was by far the best ham ever. it was very easy to make. it was my first ham ever. I sliced it and layered it similar to a lasagna.
So easy and so delicious!
We use a canned ham and canned pineapple in heavy syrup. Mix 2 cans of pineapple syrup with an entire bag of C&h dark brown sugar, place pineapple slices stacked on top and on bottom of pan, pour sugar mix over top of pineapples making sure to evenly coat everything. We also serve the pineapple slices separate. I usually have to fix 2 of the large hams to feed my family of 8 and there’s no leftovers.
The ham was delicious!! I’ve made this recipe many times and my family and friends can’t get enough.
