Pork chops with beans are a hearty dinner option, especially when combined with rice. My sister introduced me to one of my family’s favorite dinners. To suit your tastes, you can change how much salsa and beans are used. I seem to add more every time!

My family loves this dish. We use our homemade salsa and serve over rice.
I really loved the flavor! I will definitely make this again. The only issue was that I had to watch it close and add a bit of chicken broth every once in awhile so the “sauce” didn’t dry out.
Great recipe. I’ve made it a lot. Today I’m using boneless chicken breast and adding Salsa Verde and pinto beans and serve on rice. I have made pork chop and Salsa Verde and it was excellent! Never added anything but what recipe called for and it’s always really good. Plus, I use a crock pot. So easy!
Wow! I couldn’t find the recipe for what I wanted to make. Allrecipes to the rescue with this. I didn’t have high hopes and diminished the expectations of the family. I deviated from the recipe. Once I had everything rather than putting the pork chops in the pan I put all in a baking dish, covered, and cooked at 275 for 1.5 hours. They couldn’t have been more pleased and demanded it again soon. This stuff is ummm ummm good. Thanks.
Super easy and fast. I added pepper, cumin and oregano to the pork before cooking. Added sliced avocado at the end. It was great for the simplicity. Thanks for the recipe. 🙂
Tried this recipe because I wanted to use up 1/2 can of black beans. It got a rave review from hubby. My changes were slight – 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 can black beans, 1/2 c medium salsa, 2 tsp lemon juice, black pepper 1/4 tsp cumin – mixed in separate bowl – browned pork chops in pressure cooker pan – removed from pan – used 1/2 of mixture in bottom of pan and added pork chops back into pan with juices – spread balance of mixture over the chops and sprinkled 2tbl chopped parsley over top and covered the pressure cooker and cooked for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, I made sour cream mashed potatoes to serve with the chops. – sautéed green beans . I will make this again a great blending of flavors. I didn’t think I had strayed too far from original recipe
Great quick dinner. Used some lime with added a good twist. Serves on a green salad with some peppers, cucumbers and cheese.
This was wonderful, & very easy & quick. I used boneless pork chops because I had them on hand. I will definitely make this dish again because my family devoured it!
This was delicious! And this is coming from a person who can’t stand pork chops. I made fresh salsa and seasoned the chops with cumin, adobo, garlic and onion powder- more than I normally would season things. Someone mentioned lime juice- I would highly recommend that as well.
Great meal, I added onions and garlic and served with yellow rice and it’s to die for!!!
Absolutely delicious. Added 1/4 tsp. Of cumin and we think next time we will add a little chili powder as well. Served with rice and sliced avocado … will try it with chicken also.
Quick & easy high protein dinner. Will usually serve with rice & a green salad, but fine on it’s own.
Awesome meal. I had thick cut pork chops from Costco and butterflied them. It cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. I made exactly as written except I don’t add cilantro (my husband doesn’t like the taste) and it still turned out great.
I had great hopes, but it fell short. I did cook this in my crockpot so it was very tender. I added more seasonings as well. It just didn’t hit the spot for me. I’m happy to have tried it.
My kind of recipe – simple, easy to make, and delicious! Made with exact ingredients – my only change was to cook it in my slow cooker on high for 3 hours as another reviewer suggested, the meat was incredibly tender!
This was delicious! A new family fave!
I’m making again. Got rave reviews from my guy who is not a beans lover. No changes needed – I didn’t have black beans on hand, substituted a beans mixture and it was yummy.
I prepare this dish as is but use a can of goya black bean soup instead, which has a whole lot of Spanish flavors. let them simmer until tender and serve them over white rice. This is my husband’s favorite meal. Delicious!!
This was awesome. The black beans and salsa combination make a great sauce. Served it with a yellow squash casserole.
Delish! I did season my pork first ( adobo ) a little salt a garlic powder. Sautéed in extra virgin olive oil . I used Casera salsa. Black beans w/ liquid, like the recipe called for. My husband loved it . Even my picky father in law liked it.
Fabulous! So easy and so tasty. Followed the recipe as written and definitely adding it to our rotation.
