My husband and I agree that this was better than any pizza that we have ordered from the chains. I bought a 5-Cheese Marketside pizza at Wal-Mart. Then I built this recipe on top. I used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and didn’t measure anything – ust sprinkled all around until it looked right, I used the cooking directions from the box, but had to cook about an extra 10 minutes until the cheese on top was beginning to bubble. This is awesome.
My family loves pizza so I am always looking for different things to do with it. I’ll admit, at first this recipe scared me, even while I was making it. BUT…it was so good. My kids said they didn’t want the corn, so we did omit that. I will make this again.
The first time I ever made this pizza, it was with the reserved barbecue sauce and leftover rib meat. Since then, I’ve used leftover rib meat from other recipes and leftover pulled pork (with regular bottled barbecue sauce) and it’s just perfect every time! Love, love, LOVE this twist on a classic! It’s become sort of a “go-to” recipe for me…I usually have most of the ingredients on hand.
MY HUSBAND LOVED THIS PIZZA! VERY GOOD. WE USED 2 CUPS OF CHEESE INSTEAD OF 1 1/2 CUPS, WAS EVEN BETTER! NEW FAVORITE.
I JUST WATCH MS. MILLER PUT HER HANDS INTO THE FROZEN CORN, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED BY PUTTING HER FINGERS INTO THE JAR OF JALEPENO PEPPERS AND THEN INTO THE SHREDDED CHEESE. NICE TECHNIQUE …YOU KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO THOSE JALEPENO PEPPERS AFTER YOU PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THERE. YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW.
IF SHE HAD BEEN ON ‘CHOPPED’ AND DONE THAT, ALEX WOULD HAVE HAD HER USUAL FIELD DAY ABOUT SLOPPINESS, CONTAMINATION, ETC.

I think this pizza is one of the best tasting I have ever made. I used the leftover rib meat and sauce from Robins crock pot BBQ rib recipe. The rest of the ingredients are very easy to assemble on the pizza. Quick and delicious! This is a winner with my family and I will be making it again and again.
This recipe was fantastic! I used Tyler Florence’s barbeque sauce from a previous recipe “The Ultimate Barbecued Chicken,” and it tasted fantastic! I did double the amount of sauce because we like our pizza thin in my house, so we needed more sauce to fill up the bigger pizza. Also, I used chicken breast instead of pork and don’t leave out the jalapenos! They added amazing flavor. The pizza was gone quickly!
My husband and I LOVED this pizza! We used a rotisserie chicken instead of BBQ pork, and it turned out great! We’ll definitely make this again!
I had my hubby’s birthday party last night and we had homemade pizzas all night…I made 7 different pizzas. This, by far, was everyone’s favorites!!! I didn’t use Robin’s pork recipe for the pulled pork. I purchased some pre-made pulled pork from Costco. (It’s awesome, try some when you’re there, usually on sample) Do you know what makes this recipe perfect?…the pickled jalapenos! The heat of the peppers combined with the sweet bbq sauce and pork is a match in heaven. I will be making this AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. Thanks Robin :o)
All I can say is, yum! I have made this pizza at least a dozen times now. It’s such a nice change from “regular” pizza when I need a quick meal. I throw some sliced red onions onto the pizza as well. Delish!
