I have used this recipe many times, easiest one there is and comes out perfect. Point of my review though is DO NOT CHANGE THE URL. I have had this one bookmarked for many years, suddenly it is no longer at the link. I have updated but please don’t change links.

Made it for Mother’s Day per request. Was really intimidating because I had never made one before. Momma absolutely loved it. So freaking easy to make. Bringing a raging smile to my 85 yr old Momma.

I make this as written. It is great. Sometimes I add 1/4/ cup sour cream to the recipe. Makes a great pie and everyone loves it. Very easy. You can use ready made whipped cream as a garnish. Just lovely.

Hard to believe that it’s that darn easy. But it sure is! And delicious! Like other recos, I used 2 cans of condensed milk, 4 egg yolks, and 1/2C lime juice. This made enough for 6 mini pies and 1 full size pie. BTW, the mini pies are perfect crust to pie ratio particularly if you like graham cracker crust. Everyone loved it! Picture is before going in the oven.

I also add a 1/4 in thick layer of key lime sweetened yogurt to the top of the pie to give it another dimension before adding the whipped cream topping.

Modified recipe – 4 egg yolks, 2 cans sweetened condensed milk, 3/4 cup key lime juice. Perfect! Easy and delicious. Lots of raves.

So delicious and super easy peasy to make! I used 4 egg yolks, 3/4 c. of lime juice and 1/4 c. of lemon juice so it can be nice and tart and 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. I used a 6 oz graham cracker pie crust. Mixed all the ingredients very well and put it in the oven. I had to leave it in for 25 minutes. Next time if I use a bigger pie crust (with a 6 oz crust, the filling went all the way to the top) while the pie is baking, I’ll make merigue and then put it on the pie the last 5 minutes. Sooooo good, my family loves it!

Turned out well. I’m chicken about getting the egg yolks done, so I warmed the milk/juice mixture a little before whisking the yolks in. Good recipe.

This recipe is great for a quick pie. The flavor was tart like I wanted it. I will make this again.

Super simple and reliable. Not too sweet or too tart. This time I used fat free condensed milk. And a purchased walnut pie shell. And I’m preparing a rum sweetened whipped cream. The whole family loves that stuff on everything.

This was so easy and so good!! I served it to my very critical family after a fish bake and it was perfect. Everyone loved it.

I followed the recipe and timing, it turned out stiff and hard. I’m not sure what I did wrong, but it’s not what I thought

First go around with the original recipe wasn’t bad but definitely wasn’t great. Second time making with the comment suggestions of 1C key lime juice, 2 cans condensed milk and 4 egg yolks made the perfect amount of filling for the crust. 3 drops of food coloring will give you the light lime color if you’re cosmetically concerned. Over all an amazing pie recipe to make in minutes!
