Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup peanut butter
  2. 1 cup powdered sugar
  3. 1/4 cup milk
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  6. 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping
  7. Ice cream topping (recommended: Magic Shell)
  8. 1 cookie pie crust (recommended: Oreo)

Instructions

  1. In large bowl combine all the ingredients except the toppings and crust. Blend with a hand mixer. Gently fold in whipped topping; pour into prepared crust and freeze for 2 hours. Once frozen, drizzle with ice cream topping and re-freeze for 20 minutes.
  2. Thaw slightly before serving and cut into thin slices because this is a rich pie.

can I use an 8-inch square pan instead of a pie pan?

I didn’t totally follow the directions. I doubled the peanut butter only because I really love peanut butter and it was amazing! I will definitely be making this again. Peanut butter pie is my boyfriends favorite and he loved it as well. He knows I don’t like things sugar coated and prefer to be told how it is so I know it’s his honest opinion.

I replaced the milk with chocolate syrup for a little extra chocolate flavor, and I’ve found that my family likes a graham cracker crust over the Oreo. Quick and easy with great results.

Quick, easy and delicious. The kids made this as their contribution to our Thanksgiving meal. It can be made ahead and kept in the freezer and does not take up prime refrigerator space. We substituted Hot fudge drizzled over the top and it was perfect. This will definitely become one of my go to quick desserts. If you are on the fence about making this, go for it you won’t be disappointed.

Light peanut butter goodness. I put peanut butter crumbles(peanut butter and powder sugar mixed together on top instead of the swirls for more peanut butter flavor.
