Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) butter, melted
- 2 cups pretzel rods, crushed into crumbs
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 cup plus 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the melted butter, pretzel crumbs, confectioners’ sugar and 1 cup of the peanut butter and stir together until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9-by-13-by-2-inch baking dish. Combine the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate and peanut butter are melted and smooth; two intervals should be enough. Mix to blend, then spread over the peanut butter-pretzel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.

Reviews
Tasted great, looked like the photo after cutting into squares, used a pizza cutter for initial long cuts, and removed from pan with a small metal spatula. Did not grease or line pan, was very worried about sticking, first one out stuck a little, rest came out fine. Storing refrigerated in Glad container, wax paper between layers. Did heed reviews saying too sweet, reduced sugar to one cup.
These tasted great. However ….. it is really more like a candy. Very rich and very sweet.
Mine are in the fridge chilling as we speak. I misread and added an extra 1/4 c to the pretzel mixture and used the semi-sweet chips (all I had on hand) instead of the milk chocolate chips- Hope it still comes out ok!
Trisha than you for the fantastical recipe! My husband and I are crunching on them now! Love your show and recipes Superb…☮️
Easy and delicious! Made a half batch first to try it, but ended up making a full recipe 4 days later for company 🙂 Since then, I’ve sent the link to all those who attended the party. SO good!
I gave recipe 5 Stars because it has delicious ingredients and sounds easy but I haven’t tried it yet.
I have a question has anyone tried Crunchy Peanut Butter instead of Smooth?

YUM! This recipe is oh so delicious! I have made it many times and family and friends love it. It is the right amount of chocolate and peanut butter. I do not add the full amount of powdered sugar, since there is diabetes in the family.
Can someone tell me how do you keep chocolate from getting soft after taking it out of the refrigerator
Simple, delicious, easy to make, look beautiful on tray!
