We had this last night for dinner, and it was fantastic! I used a spicy eggplant ravioli and a good marinara that we like. I only had plain Panco, but added Italian seasoning and cayenne. The breading doesn’t stick evenly, but maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. I deep fried them for just a couple of minutes till brown, turning them halfway. Topped with a bit of fresh parm, served with a nice salad and grilled squashes. Hubs is already asking for it again. Thank you, Barb! This is a fast and easy weeknight meal!
Baked at 375 for 25 minutes.
Definitely delicious.i changed 1 thing and that is the noodles I made them homemade ,me and my family loved it. Definitely recommended. Also if you are making it for a big family dinner I would double it.
We made these a couple months ago. They came out good, but both my wife and I like traditional ravioli. The breading on ravioli was unneeded we thought.
I had trouble getting the breading to stick evenly, and my ravioli kind of expanded/exploded a bit in the oil too which cracked the coating even worse. I’ve never had this snack before, so I don’t have experience with how it should look/taste, but mine were definitely unimpressive.
Easy and tasted good!
Really good appetizer…great way to use up extra ravioli
Very yummy recipe and you can indeed use meat ravioli. There aren’t many things more annoyingly idiot than whining about the name of a recipe. Use whatever ravioli you like. What makes it St.Louis style is toasting it with the Italian bread crumbs. Similarly you can call Korbel “champagne” and the earth will continue to turn.
This is how a 5 star restaurant in at Louis made their T-Ravs, when I worked there back int the 90’s. If u haven’t tried them this is a staple in at Louis. Add a Caesar salad and this is a quick and easy week enough to meal the whole family will enjoy.
I made my own ravioli, then use this recipe. It is very easy and the ravioli came out very good.
This was super easy to make and very cost effective! I made an adjustment by coating them in flour before the egg/milk wash and breadcrumbs and it seemed to make the breading stick nicely to the pasta. I swapped out cheese rav for beef and it made it even better! The cost (Boston, MA) for the whole dish was about $8-10, so it was very reasonable!
I liked this recipe and made it as is! It is a good detour from regular dinner meals served along with a salad.
The recipe is fine for some easy toasted ravioli, howerever, to be even slightly authentic you should swap out the cheese ravioli for beef ones.
I thought this was pretty bland to me. It could use more seasoning even though I used Italian bread crumbs.
Wanted something fast and easy and this recipe did not disappoint. BF throughly enjoyed too!!
Really easy, really tasty. I used Italian-seasoned bread crumbs and meat ravioli, came out great. Didn’t even bother with the sauce! The second time I had to use less oil and it was a little harder to get them cooked consistently evenly, so I definitely recommend using closer to the suggested amount.
This was very good and very easy.
No cheap
the only change I made was I doubled the recipe to feed but overall amazing and definetly will be making again soon!
Love this recipe! I baked it at 375 for 25 minutes and it turned out perfect.
Family loved it!
