This recipe for bacon-wrapped onion rings sounds like a fun and crispy appetizer!

While I haven’t tried those myself, I recently came across a recipe for a McDonald’s-inspired Bacon Chicken Wrap at wrapsoftheday.uk that might be more your speed for a quick lunch. Here’s a simplified version:

Prep: Grill or cook some crispy chicken strips (grilled chicken tenders would work too). Shred some lettuce, slice a tomato, and grab your favorite mayo or sauce.
Assemble: Spread your chosen sauce on a soft flour tortilla. Layer with lettuce, tomato, and the cooked chicken. Top it all off with some crispy bacon (cooked to your preference).
Wrap it up!: Roll the tortilla tightly, starting from one of the sides and tucking in the ends as you go. Enjoy your delicious homemade Bacon Chicken Wrap!

Really enjoyed the Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings!! I did read other reviews and increased temperature to 425° and baked for 45 mins! They were crispy, delicious and not soggy at all!

These looked great on the show; very dark and crispy. I had to cook mine for a very long time to get the bacon to get even partially crispy. I found that the onion rings were soggy. I’m not sure if my oven is just that different but it cooks everything else with no issues. I’m thinking that maybe I’ll try 400F next time and perhaps set the rack up higher. It did make the house smell terrific and they didn’t last long. I found them to be a little too greasy and “rich” for my tastes. I don’t have a gallbladder so I avoid foods like this just to give you more info.

I will try them again and will keep looking back for ideas on how to achieve the crispy bacon.

Delicious but mine didn’t get that sticky gooey glaze from the oven.
I will try again because they disappeared in minutes:)

Best Appetizer I have ever made. Easy, tasty and a “manly” favorite. Took them to a party last night and they were gone in 5 minutes. Since I wanted them crispy it took 45 minutes in the oven.

I made these yesterday and thought they were yummy.  My husband didn’t love them, which is why I am only giving 3 stars.  Mine took closer to 35 minutes to cook.
