I don’t usually change a recipe for a review… but I had roasted nuts so skipped the oven. Woohoo!! Easiest spiced nuts ever! Fast, easy, and perfect for my charcuterie board tonight, thank you very much!

Made for Christmas gifts, really good and tasty.

My company loved these spiced nuts. I also put them in holiday gift bags to take as hostess gifts to holiday parties.

We’re sorry to hear some of you didn’t like your experience with this recipe! The nuts are indeed very buttery when they’re hot right out of the oven, but if you let them cool to room temperature they will absorb most of that butter and be drier to the touch but just as flavorful. We hope this tip is helpful the next time you try this recipe! – Food Network Kitchens

Yummy! Use salted nuts though or add salt and garlic powder to the ecipe as we did. A great hostess gift in a pretty box or bowl.

Made for a great appetizer ! Right after I finished and the nuts were still hot, I tried them and wasn’t so sure about this recipe. The taste was off. But, after they were dried and cooled for a bit, they were a huge hit! I’ll definitely try this again next season.

I don’t know how you can eat these warm with all that butter. It leaves a grease mess in your hands. After an hour I’m still waiting to handle these without so much grease. I honestly don’t think you need that much butter. I’ve been stirring them off and on for the last hour but still have butter at the bottom of the bowl. After and hour in a half the nuts are slowly absorbing and cooling. I do like the flavor, not to sweet and not to spicy. I use only 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne in fear that my delicate taste buds would be on fire. Not the case. Next time I’ll but the 1/2 teaspoon in.

Just the right blend of sweet and spicy I was looking for. Not too much sugar.

I had to find just one more goodie for a Christmas hostess. This recipe sounded yummy, so I tried it. Perfect! I just added a little more butter and a few more spices. There were no leftovers, so I am making more today.
