Unwind Sangria

This festive white sangria couldn’t be easier or prettier. When I know a crowd of friends or family are coming over, I whip up a batch and keep it in the fridge to let the fruit infuse with the wine and rum. I love to use peaches and berries, but feel free to use your favorite fruit.
Level: Easy
Total: 1 hr 10 min
Active: 10 min
Yield: 6 to 8 servings

Ingredients

  1. 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced (about 1 cup)
  2. 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
  3. 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  4. 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  5. Two 750-milliliter bottles white wine, such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, chilled
  6. 1/2 cup white rum, such as Ten to One, The Real Mc Coy or Bacardi
  7. One 750-milliliter bottle favorite flavor Italian soda (I like lemon)
  8. Fresh mint, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the peaches, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries in a serving pitcher. Add the wine and rum. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. (The flavors get better as they stand.)
  2. To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice and top with the Italian soda. Garnish with the mint.

This sounds so lusciously cool on a hot summer day. And I shall do so when summer comes this year! I really enjoyed the flavor. I really enjoyed the wine thank you for the recipe
