The Bayshore

The rosé wine here adds a nice fruity acidity that brings the sweetness of the drink down just enough. The simple syrup can be made and chilled a day ahead so that when it’s time to serve, the drink comes together in no time. There is truly no better accompaniment to your summer party menu. Cheers!

Very refreshing drink. We did add a splash of cucumber vodka to the drink, and used a little agave instead of simple syrup.

This was very refreshing. I tripled the recipe bc it works for a 750ml bottle of wine but I only doubled the simple syrup bc we don’t like super sweet drinks. Next time I’ll chiffonade the basil but cut it back a little bc it was a little over the top. I’ll definitely make it again.

Couldn’t wait to try this and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s easy and fast to make. I can taste the strawberries and smell the basil. Very refreshing and a nice drink to have after a long Friday of work.

Actually we made this cocktail using fresh strawberries and basil, but instead of simple syrup we used Sparkling Rose. It is delicious. A great refreshing drink for these hot summer days in Florida.
