Reviews
This was good but very, very sweet! It is also very thick – almost like drinking a smoothie.
The changes we made:
– Omit Basil.- Used Frozen Strawberries.- Added 2 teaspoons Five Spice Powder to Strawberries in Step 1.- Added 2.5 teaspoons Orange Blossom Water to blender in Step 2.- Reduced Bourbon to 1 cup.- Added a smokey flavor using the Crafthouse by Fortessa Smoking Cloche.
Dee-licious!!I used a 16 oz. pkg. of frozen whole strawberries and a one oz. package of basil. didn’t quite reduce it by half. also pulled the basil out before pureeing, and the basil flavor was really there. loved it!!
