Ingredients

  1. 6 slices peppered bacon
  2. 3 1/4 cups tomato juice
  3. 1 1/4 cups bacon-flavored vodka (or regular vodka)
  4. 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 3 lemons)
  5. 1 tablespoon horseradish
  6. 2 teaspoons chipotle hot sauce
  7. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  8. 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  9. Freshly ground pepper
  10. 6 stalks celery with leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp, 9 to 11 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a pitcher; refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Pour the Bloody Mary mixture into 6 large ice-filled glasses. Add a piece of bacon and a celery stalk to each.

I made to cocktail as listed… however I sprinkled brown sugar over the bacon and cooked in the oven…. then added the candied bacon and pickled asparagus skewered to a green olive.  Awesome!
