Ingredients
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces Campari
- 1 ounce gin
- About 1/4 cup brut prosecco or other sparkling wine
- 1 orange, sliced into thin rounds and cut in half, for serving
Instructions
- Fill a 16-ounce glass with crushed ice. Add the orange juice, Campari and gin and stir to combine. Top off with the prosecco. Garnish with an orange slice and serve immediately.

Made this today for friends. Didn’t have Campari so I substituted Aperol. Absolutely delicious and refreshing for a hot summer afternoon.
I tried this as written and it was very bitter. I used less bitters and it was better. I think compari is an acquired taste.

Perfect aperitivo! You can play around a bit with ingredients to your liking (eg, if you want a little more gin flavor forward use a nice botanical gin and add .25 more ounces than the recipe, then scale back the OJ that same amount).
