Ingredients

  1. 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
  2. 8 dashes bitters
  3. 12 ounces bourbon or whiskey
  4. 4 ounces Pernod
  5. Ice
  6. 4 strips lemon peel

Instructions

  1. Muddle the sugar and bitters in a cocktail shaker until the sugar dissolves. Add the bourbon, Pernod and some ice. Shake to combine. Strain into 4 rocks glasses. Garnish with the lemon peels.
