This is my new favorite cocktail. For people who don’t like gin, could you substitute vodka or even tequila?
These are AMAZING!!! Great recipe for making several cocktails all at once. Perfect balance of sweet and sour! Perfect!!!!
I never make mass quantities of a beverage so I reduced the ingredients to make one cocktail. It was so good I then made another one. Next time I may just make the recipe for six and save some for the next day. It was just the right amount of sweet and sour.
Absolutely Fab! as Emily kept saying in this episode… I adore Gimlets and this is a beauty. My one requirement for cocktails is that they are super-easy and this one is. BTW, if you haven’t seem Mary Poppins Returns…it is delightful. They did a really nice job with it because honestly…you can’t improve perfection (which the first Mary Poppins is). This whole episode is wonderful too – the recipes are great. I wasn’t too happy about Ina’s new book, Cook Like A Pro, because so many of the recipes are recycled…but when I started cooking the new ones…I was completely impressed as usual. Ina rocks…she really does!!
Wow! Thank you very much for sharing this recipe. We chose this as our holiday cocktail and it is delicious!!
