I love this! I made my own pimento dram and it is such a great fall cocktail. I was at liquor store the other day and actually saw pimento dram there. Making it myself was easy. I will make a cocktail now to enjoy!

Luckily found pimento dram at the liquor store because someone else had already special ordered it and I got the last bottle. Everyone liked it. A little sweet for some even though I left out the maple syrup .

Was originally going to make this for our annual holiday party. Just like other reviewers, I had to make my own pimento dram. Unlike the other reviewers, I did not like the Maple Leaf. However, since I had made a batch of the pimento dram, I tried it in eggnog and found that to be quite tasty. After my taste test of the maple leaf, served the GZ’s Moscow Turkey instead.

This looked so good when I saw it being made. But, first we had to make the allspice dram. Finally got to taste the cocktail today – it was even better than I expected. Texture is velvety, taste is not overly sweet, strong or spicy – it just tastes perfect!

Excellent. I  made it for Thanksgiving. only complaint – what is pimento dram? I used Drambuie (my favorite drink ). Geoffrey, you should have given us a brand name . I  was in Florida and three large liquor stores never heard of pimento dram. Not  fun.

Outstanding!  Made my own pimento dram.  This drink goes down extremely smooth.

I had rye whiskey and peach nectar so I used that.  I made a homemade dram.  It was still delicious.  I had to wait 2 weeks to try it because the dram took a while to make.  Yum!

Pimento Dram is not sold in Maine.  After going to 3 different stores, the manager at last store looked in a State of Maine book of all liquor sold in Maine. It is not on the list.  What can I substitute?   We are dying to try this!

Question: Pear Puree?? – I caught the end of this episode and did not see Geoffrey make the pear puree & the recipe does not mention anything about it. Did Geoffrey buy the pear puree or make it? If he made it, how did he do that? Did he use a fresh pear, canned pear, in a blender w/ what ingredients?
Please help! Thanks so much!

Oh wow Jeffrey this drink is banging.  It is so smooth on the tongue and going down your throat it doesn’t burn.   I have made every drink on the 11 seasons of the kitchen and i think this the best.  GOD BLESS you man.  Love ya
