Great. I agree, this recipe reverses what GZ said about order of adding the ingrediants. I used GZ’s method, and only added a few drops of the creme de cassis (on the show it appeared that he added less cassis than this recipe indicates). It was a huge hit…a new tradition for Thanksgiving. Not too sweet.
The instructions for this recipe are the complete opposite of what GZ specified in the episode. He noted you MUST put the Champagne in the glass first. If you follow the ingredient order noted herein, the Champagne will bubble over.
