Reviews
Made this for a small dinner party. IT was easy to make. I made the lime and simple syrup part early so it could chill until ready to serve. Everyone loved it. I didn’t see the reviews about adding a splash of lemon lime soda – so I didn’t do that. I also had strawberry syrup and not cherry – so I used it. All in all this was a big hit. Next time, I will try it with a splash of sprite, if I remember to buy some.
Make a syrup with lime juice and sugar, 1 1/4 cup each, heat on stove top let cool, large jar of maraschino cherries juice and all. 1/2 cup tart cherry juice. Mix together EVERYTHING keep in fridge. Now glass with ice about 1/8 cup of juices plus a cherry or two, top off with lemon lime soda of your choice.I like being able to mix each glass and I’ve got it down and can splash out into glass the right amount and topped with sprite. If you are sugar sensi
Chuck’s Cherry Limeade was a huge hit at our BBQ. I did cheat though, we went and bought an electric juicer! A new favorite refreshing drink!
On the show Ree opens a can of lemon lime soda, but it’s not in the recipe. Does this replace the simple syrup?
