This is a great play on a traditional whiskey sour. The beer gives it a refreshing splash and cuts the tartness of the citrus. If you change the beer you have a slightly different drink each time.

Delicious, smooth, and complex. We used “Jam up the mash” which is a dry hopped sour and it was fabulous! We also used aquafaba (chickpea brine) instead of egg whites and it worked great.

Thought it was definitely refreshing. But sneaks up on you as the bourbon is in the background.  Perfect for Super Bowl weekend! Especially in sunny and hot California!

Would love to make this but does anybody have an idea where you can buy the citrus sour that they showed on TV? Can’t find it anywhere.

Sickly strange taste from the cherries. Don’t waste your beer – make the Super Shandy on this website

I found this cocktail to be very refreshing! Used Blue Moon’s Light Sky. Glad I did!
