Reviews
We had all the ingredients. My hubby made it for me and I liked it! Very good :
We didn’t have the creme de menthe, so I substituted a small amount of mint extract. It was delicious!
I did not have the Irish cream or creame de menthe so I replaced both with a chocolate mint cream liqueur. The combo of the chocolate/mint, coffee, and vodka is very tasty. This is one that I will be making again and again.
I thought the basic concept of the drink was good but the creme de menthe overpowered the other flavors – next time I am going to use less creme de menthe and maybe a little more Kahlua
The mint/coffee/cream flavor is pleasant, but the richness and sweetness of those three liqueurs makes it far too rich as anything other than a dessert. My guests liked it at first, but were quite “stuffed” by the end. The alcohol content was enough so that they did not need another, though.
