Ingredients
- 5 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup sour cream
- Scant 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 large onion, small dice
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
Instructions
- For the meatloaf: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix together the beef, breadcrumbs, sour cream, Worcestershire, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, egg, bell peppers, onion and 1 1/2 cups of the barbecue sauce in a bowl. Portion into two 4 1/3-inch loaf pans. Glaze the tops with the remaining 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes. Remove from the pans and place on a lined sheet pan. Chill overnight, then portion into 5 servings.
