Very good and easy to make. Will make it again.
This recipe is perfect! I have made it several times and it is always a hit. It freezes well too. I use Famous Dave’s sweet and spicy bbq sauce (as was suggested on here) and it is so good!
This is an all-time favorite in our household. Absolutely delicious. And so quick and easy to make. The combined flavors in the sauce are so perfect! A delicious combination of sweet and tangy. I only have a small slow cooker, so I use 3-4 chicken breasts, but the same amount of sauce. The chicken absorbs the sauce very well, and comes out so juicy and tender and flavorful. Thank you Zanne and Allrecipes!
Of course I change the amounts of the sauces, but it turned out4 great. Really easy!!!
I love this chicken it’s so good I even eat it with Doritos
I used 4 frozen chicken breasts and omitted the brown sugar. Cooked on low for 4 hours. The flavor combination of bbq sauce plus italian dressing was just gross. Cooking for 4 hours on low created a mushy texture. I wanted to love it but no way. Will try again with BBQ sauce plus a little beer and cook on low for an hour, then shred and cook longer if needed.
I prepared as written and both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for the receipt. Wish I had taken a picture.
I make this often and freeze smaller portions. I usually only use 4 chicken breast halves. It’s easy!
Recipe was tasty. But this will not serve 6 humans. Maybe 6 mice though. It’s embarrassing how little this made. I omitted the brown sugar and it was perfectly fine/sweet enough.
probably will omit or lessen the brown sugar next time, but there will almost certainly be a next time. very easy and tasty. i did the 4 hours on high, but it could have used more time in my crock to make it tender. always depends on the crock you use, so timing is variable, but this is a great quick recipe
Great tasting BBQ for sandwiches! Followed the direction exactly.
So easy!
So good! I was a bit hesitant about the Italian dressing but I followed recipe and it terrific. I wish the sauce were thicker though.
I didnt have Worcestershire sauce so I skipped it but this was an instant family favorite!! My picky 9 year old loves this recipe!!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!!!! I made this with sweet baby rays and oh my gosh it was amazing it made a ton so I used my food saver and it made a ton so I froze it and so I will take it out and when I’m exhausted after a long day and cook and will have it for about two or three days and we’re never sick of it. It is amazing Even my picky granddaughter who I’m raising absolutely likes it a lot so it’s a winner in our home.
At first I was hesitant about the salad dressing in the recipe and after starting it realized I did not have Italian so I used ranch. Started with fresh chicken breast and cooked it on low for 6 hours then shredded it. The sandwiches were great with a pickled slaw.
I’m standing at the counter at 9 AM eating cold pulled bbq chicken from the fridge. If that’s not a testament to how delicious this is, then I don’t know what to tell you. I did take the suggestion from others and started cooking on low around 5 hours before shredding. I used about 3# of boneless skinless chicken breast. I shredded the breasts using my Kitchenaid mixer and then poured ladles of sauce over so that I had just what I needed. I saved the remaining sauce in a small container.
This has become a staple for me. What can go wrong with zesty(preferred)Italian, BBQ, with a hint of Worcestershire? Nothing. After reading previous reviews altered how I prepared 6 frozen breasts, cooking approx. 4 hrs. on high and draining most of excess liquid. Shredding chicken adding sauce cooking additional 2-3 hrs. on low. I omit the br. sugar, prefer less sweet. Excellent results.
My first time ever making pulled chicken cause I’m not a big fan of it. Now that I’ve tried this one. Oh my it’s so so good. I us Jack Daniels barbecue sauce.
We love this recipe. I follow it to the T every time. After it’s been shredded, I then roll it into Pillsbury crescent rolls with a little bit of shredded cheddar and bake to the crescent roll directions.
I made it! I loved it!! The recipe is easy and the results are AMAZING!! I used chicken thighs already unshaved so was able to cook them on slow in the slow cooker. Since my BBQ sauce was already sweet, I added some dry mustard to enhance the kick. This is the BEST BBQ sauce recipe and the chicken is moist and delicious!! Hats off to the person who created this one!!!
