Left the onions out for the kids. Used GRILL MATES SMOKEHOUSE MAPLE seasoning with a healthy amount of garlic powder. No salt or pepper added. Super good!!!

I changed mine up quite a bit. I made the dish with bow tie noodles instead of egg noodles and I substituted cream of celery because we aren’t a fan of mushrooms. I added chopped onion chopped garlic from the glass jar 1 tbs worth a dash of garlic& onion powder and lastly lots of pepper & salt. It turned out great but it was my first time cooking this dish as well as cooking venison so if I could change anything I did it would be to leave it out longer to thaw & to marinate the venison before hand so the meat itself had more flavor & was a little more tender. Also add a half pound more of meat because the noodles to meat ratio was clearly not equal.

Great and easy to make. The kids loved it!

Made this and it was a winner. I did some slight tweaks however. I do prefer a hearty flavor and while it is venison, I did add 2 teaspoons of beef bouillon powder to the sauce, along with canned mushrooms. This is a keeper of a recipe for sure!

I put an envelope of Lipton onion soup in for an extra bit of taste with this recipe. Came out perfect!

Just made this. I added some mushrooms because I wanted some veg but other than that followed the recipe. Was good.

Really good! Very creamy. Next time I might use minced garlic instead of powder so the garlic flavor will co e through a bit more.

I made this last night. It was very good. I had to use cream of potato soup because this is all I had on hand. I did read the reviews and followed some of the suggestions. I did flour my venison before cooking. I added it all to the slow cooker with a splash of cooking sherry. Next time I will add more meat and mushrooms. I did not have any mushrooms but love them. This was a very easy way to make venison. I cooked it on low for about four hours. The meat was tender. Thank you for sharing the recipe and all the reviews prior to mine. Also remember to be careful not to over salt when you using condensed soup as it is high in sodium right out of the can.

We love it because its simple but we add minced garlic, onion, a little bit of Worcestershire, fish sauce, beef bullion stock and rosemary

I made this in my crockpot and the meat was so tender it fell apart. I changed it a little bit. I used elk meat and used 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of beefy mushroom. I also used only 1/4 cup of sour cream. My family really loved it and I’ll definitely be making it again.

Delicious!

Great recipe! Easy and tastes delicious. Way too many noodles though for my liking. I used half and used the other half for something else.
