- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pound pork rib tips
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce, divided
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring

- Place coated ribs in a slow cooker. Stir together 3/4 of the BBQ sauce with liquid smoke in a medium bowl until well combined. Pour evenly over ribs.
- Cook on Low until ribs are tender, 4 to 6 hours.
- Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler. Line a baking tray or broiler rack with aluminum foil.
- Remove ribs to the prepared tray and baste with remaining BBQ sauce.
- Cook ribs under the preheated broiler until sauce is hot and sticky, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- You can grill the rib tips instead of broiling.

Not much of a barbecue sauce person. Maybe I hadn’t found the right one. But I bought a peach bourbon jar from a fall festival that I had not used and today, I found the right recipe for it. Oh my Lord!!!! Yes, the sauce is definitely a good choice and I will go back to get more… but this rib tip recipe… is just heavenly!!!! Definitely a keeper!!! Thanks for such a thorough and easy guide through it. LOVED IT!!! The family DEVOURED IT!!! Great with garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.
Delicious! I added a lil water & did not broil them. I cooked them for 6 hours. Fell off the bone. Definitely do again
I liked them-but did not love them. The recipe was worth making one time. 🙂
I liked this very much, but I used boneless rib tips, so the broiling part of the recipe made them dry. Next time, I will use bone-in as written. The taste was great, however. I mixed 1/2 cup of beer with the bbq sauce and liquid smoke.
My entire family loved this. The flavor is so good. Finger licking good. The only thing I did different is not add all the brown sugar I added only half the amount so it would not make it super sweet. It was perfect falling off the bone. Pork Rib Tips are hard to find. I finally found them at 99 Ranch Market. Definitely this recipe is a keeper.
This is a great recipe for ribs. I couldn’t find rib tips at our market, so I got a slab of baby back pork ribs, cut them up and used the recipe on them as is. Fantastic. Everyone loved them. Thanks. This will be a favorite.
I followed recipe exactly. Tasty, yet needed a bit more kick to me. Plenty of sauce in slow cooker to serve on the side with the ribs. I cooked 4 hours. Easy to make.
I added a few rosemary sprigs. Have a nice herbed flavor.
Was so easy, so good and I wish I made extra!!! Only made for 4, the hubs ate it that night!!!
Excellent!! I’ve not had much luck before with making ribs. This is THE recipe I needed. A keeper!!
Absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely be making this again!!!
this is the best meal I have made on this app
This was so easy and delicious. Pork tips are on sale so often at our local grocery store. This makes for an inexpensive meal that can feed an entire family
So delicious! My husband, the grill master, agreed that these ribs would win the cook off!
Off the chain good !!! Beautiful coloring, fell off the bone, succulent taste. I ate each piece slowly savoring the flavor.
I made this and although the taste was okay, it is probably something I wouldn’t make again. Although I did like the bite that it gave, it was a little to sweet for my taste. Overall okay, but I wouldn’t rave about it.
turned out perfect. my wife doesn’t normally eat pork. she loved this and ate seconds.
Very tender. My husband said this is the only way we will cook ribs from now on.
The kiddies lick the meat from the bone. very soft ribs. We like alot.
Awesome!
Love the rub. ribs were delicious and meat was tender. really important not to overcrowd the pot. will be making this again!
