It is soooooo good! This will be my go-to recipe from now on! I will also use this for chicken breasts and will try legs as well!

This was very good. My husband loved it. I used chicken breasts and liquid amino (soy sauce substitute).

I love garlic and honey! I doubled the recipe, without basil. It’s delicious!

Very delicious I used bone in chicken thighs. Served with rice

Savory and delicious. Used low sodium soy sauce. First time I prepared this dish it was shut out, no leftovers. Making it again tonight with two extra thighs. Wish me luck for leftovers. Added a frozen cube of basil and olive oil to marinade. Super easy recipe!

OMG!!! Used boneless skinless thighs and boneless skinless breasts. Added a rough chopped onion and a splash of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. Homemade mashed potatoes and carrots. Amazing!!! This is a keeper. Sorry, I took the picture after we ate. It originally looked just like the recipe picture.

I used chicken tenders and probably could have cooked a shorter time. The sauce was thinner than desired. Probably will use a different recipe next time.

Great recipe. Easy to make. No exotic ingredients needed. I read the comments about the saltiness of the recipe, so I substituted Smoky BBQ flavored liquid coconut aminos for the soy sauce. Didn’t have basil on hand, so I used Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute instead. I made only 2 thighs, so I cut the sauce recipe in half and cooked it on high in the slow cooker. They were done in an hour and a half. I will definitely make this recipe on a regular basis.

Delicious! I had 12 pcs. of boneless skinless chicken thighs and used the 1 cup of ketchup, 2/ 3 cup of honey and only 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tsp. of dried basil and 5 or 6 cloves of garlic minced. Slow cooked for 4 hrs. I thickened the sauce with a little water and cornstarch. Perfect. It was a huge hit.

Use low sodium soysauce!

Very tasty. I added a cap full of bourbon whiskey. I would shred the chicken or marinate first next time. Definately on my list.

Definitely use half of the soy sauce and cook down the sauce afterwards with cornstarch. Add ginger and some crush red pepper to hit some of the missing notes. We did enjoy it, easy and a great base recipe!

I halved the soy sauce to make sure it wasn’t too salty. Then when I could taste the sauce after cooking I added soy sauce to taste. 4 thighs go over cooked in 4 hours so I will do 3 hours next time. Also added cornstarch and turned slow cooker or high to thicken the sauce at the end.

Great recipe. I used breasts instead so I didn’t cook as long. A little soupy so I think I’d thicken with cornstarch unless you want it soupy.

Was way too salty at first. Added more ketchup and honey which made it a bit better. Then upon eating after fully cooked realizing it has a weird after taste. I’m assuming from the ketchup?? Anyways, major thumbs down. Wasted a huge pack of chicken on this recipe.
