Yield: | 6 chicken thighs |
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons rosemary
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- ½ cup honey
- 6 skinless chicken thighs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper; simmer until flavors combine, about 1 minute. Stir in honey; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Dip chicken into sauce, 1 piece at a time, until coated. Place chicken on a 9×13-inch baking pan; pour remaining sauce over chicken.
- Bake chicken in the preheated oven until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove from oven; immediately turn over chicken with tongs to coat the top with sauce.

This was delicious. I didn’t have as much honey but I added what I had and we thought is was sweet enough with less honey. I would make this again adding more garlic powder and I added some chopped garlic too.
Love this recipe, it taste great! Subtle flavor with a down home comfort taste.
I put the chicken in the air fryer. If was ok, but I feel the seasonings were off a bit.
This was delicious!! I used the suggestion after the recipe to cook the leftover juices and thicken for extra sauce -I will make this one again!!
I cooked it for an hr and added some lime juice.
Excellent chicken recipe. Easy to make, most ingredients were already on hand. The chicken was very tasty and my Friday night family dinner was a big hit. Everyone loved the chicken, and expressed how the honey and rosemary gave it an awesome taste. Definitely will make again.
My family including one very picky eater LOVED it! I did not thicken the pan juices – we spooned it over the chicken- it was delicious! My picky eater asked for the leftovers ( had very little left over) the next day for lunch!!
I added a bit of Dijon mustard and cinnamon to the sauce and broiled it at the end for crispness..
Great flavor! Big hit with my family
I added lemon juice to the chicken. A little to sweet for my taste. The breast were larger than I normally used. Baked 30 mins longer in aluminum foil. Pretty deep brown. Really tender and juicy. Not bad. May try honey garlic mustard, minus the lemon juice of course next time.
Made as directed. Next time I’ll add more garlic, red Pepper and rosemary. Used the dice on side dish of Potato’
This was so easy to make and it was delicious! A good week night meal.
Husband and toddler approved! Very easy and a nice change from my usual, I’ll be adding this to the dinner rotation.
OMG!!!! This recipe is amazing!! I Absolutely love honey, garlic and rosemary. I paired it with roasted potatoes an mixed veggies
This was a great recipe. The chicken was nice and juicer. The flavor was yummy. I will make this again.
Very tasty! I used 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts. I stayed with the rest of the ingredients. Added two whole potatoes and finished baking them in the microwave. There was plenty of left over juices for gravy. Swiss Chard for a veggie.
Mother can’t eat soya products. This was a great recipe to use instead of honey soy chicken
Fast, easy, and delicious! Use fresh rosemary – the aroma is wonderful!
Excellent!! Thank you for the delicious recipe!!
It was good. the Measurement for the rosemary was too much for me so next time I will ues a little less
Very good. Easy to make. Will definitely make this again.
