Garlic and Ham Spaghetti

  4.1 – 30 reviews

This dinner is delicious and simple. When I serve it to friends, I am always asked for the recipe. Don’t be put off by the lengthy list of ingredients; you may always add or remove anything. If desired, serve with French bread and top with Parmesan cheese and olive oil. If you prefer, add some artichoke hearts.

All I added was 2 Tbs more butter and I cut the ham in small pieces about the size of the chopped broccoli. My family really liked it

Made as directed. I guess I am not a fan of ham and spaghetti. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t for me.

We really loved this dish! I did not have broccoli or mushrooms but had a bag salad of spinach, chard, and kale so that’s what I used. I did not add olive oil at the end as there was enough from sautéed ingredients. Would definitely make this again with mushrooms!!!

I was looking for something quick & came across this recipe …. The fam loved it so flavorful 🙂

This was awful. The flavours did not blend and it needs some kind of sauce.

This was awesome, simple and delicious. I used some different veggies in it, but it was still amazing

I used Bowtie instead of spaghetti some regular ham and some pancetta bacon. On the mushrooms I use white mushrooms and Cremini mushrooms and it made a lot more than I thought:)

Like almost everyone I only had some of the ingredients I added spinach instead of broccoli and green peppers instead of the olives. I think it was perfect we even added some chopped tomatoes to the top light and delicious.

I thought this was an easy, tasty, light meal. I had a problem with the rest of the family as they didn’t like the ham (personal taste) so I will probably do it with grilled chicken next time. I also think bacon would make a tasty addition.

4.5 Prep time took longer as I used fresh broccoli and added some cauliflower which I microwaved first. A little more garlic, ground pepper, less butter and a tablespoon of olive oil. A great change of pace!!!

Great, basic recipe. I like garlic so did add more as well as some pepper. Had a nice, light flavor and loved how quick it was to make it. Would make again.

As normal didn’t have all ingredients but loved the general concept and tasted good stayed as close as I could with the recipe. Something new thanks for this recipe!

This turned out much better than I expected. I left out the olives out of personal preference and added some fresh parmesan cheese to the top when served. My husband was much more sceptical than I was and I was told to add this to my box. Thanks

I can’t believe more people haven’t tried this recipe! It was SO good! I steamed some fresh broccoli and used canned mushrooms since that’s all I had on hand. I also cut the garlic down to 1 clove, just out of preference. I was out of olives, so I skipped them and sprinkled some parmesan/romano on top. Delicious!!!

I made this as directed except using fresh broccoli and only 8 oz. of mushrooms. None of us liked it. The flavors of the different ingredients just didn’t seem to work together.

I added a little double cream as we like sauce. I also added celery, asparagus and carrot.
Melanie Burton
This was ok, quick and easy. Would probably make again if I have ham that needs using, or if I wanted something filling quickly without any effort.

Simple and easy. I did double the garlic and added about 1 tsp of Mrs Dash garlic and herb seasoning to liven it up a bit more for us. Will make again.
Michelle Johnson
This was good and I will probably make it again.

Very Yummy dish. The only thing I did different was put a bit of cream with it. Just to give it a bit of sauce. My husband liked it so much, and had to make another batch for him, for work.
