Wow! Just as good or better than anything you get in a restaurant. Quick tip…coat really well, and don’t pile on top of each other after cooking if you can avoid it!
I just made this. It’s delicious! I didn’t use cayenne pepper but I did use Lawry’s Season Salt (my seasoning of choice). I also used plain bread crumbs. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Love it!
I wanted people to know…I cooked these in my air-fryer. I cooked it in air fry for about 6 minutes. I did use a thermometer checking for 165. I was able to get 6 pieces in there but that depends on the fryer size. Turned out nice and crunchy. I did add panco crumbs in with the other one. Dipping sauce can adds the flavor but I went by the directions. Next time I’ll try some more spices. especially salt.
It was crispy and then juicy on the inside. My family loved it!
I made these last night. After reading the reviews, I added a little bit more spices – cayenne, white pepper, garlic, and onion powder to the bread crumbs. The tenders were delicious! They were so moist inside and crunchy on the outside! The dipping sauce (I added a few dashes more of Worchestershire) was easy to make! Be sure to follow the directions and you won’t be sorry! NOTE: I fried these at 350 instead of 375 degrees because the first two burned.
I put some garlic salt in the bread crumbs and it was delicious! Fairly simple but good recipe.
Love the extra crispness the bread crumbs add… food lion makes a soulfood seasoning that makes the flavor irresistible. This is definitely an easy and quick staple meal for my family.
I made it EXACTLY LIKE THE RECIPE!!
Great recipe! Deep fried the fresh-cut chicken strips at closer to 350 than 375 (the first few were too done) and 5-minutes was perfect. Super easy and good. Everybody from Grandma to the kids liked them!
exceptionally delicious! will def make this recipe again.
This was delicious! Made this today with modifications. Took the advice of others and I seasoned the chicken itself using Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper and Red Pepper Flakes. I smothered chicken breasts in mayo, then refrigerated and allowed it to marinate for a few hours. I then floured, dipped in eggs (used heavy whipping cream instead of water), then the bread crumbs and pan fried in the stove. VERY juicy and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Would definitely make this again. I loved it!!!
Nice and semi-crispy outside, tender inside + some kick! I’m a fan:)! Thanks!
Used 2 TB of mustard and horseradish (instead of 3) and it was my kind of flavor!
I added more cayenne was awesome.
This recipe was amazing and delicious I can make this like a million times and never get tired of it!!!! I made it for my family and they just devoured it
My family Love these!!! They are great!
Really needed more seasoning. I added garlic powder, onion powder and kosher salt. Hubby liked (always a good sign).
I used gluten-free flour and gluten-free bread crumbs. Didn’t put enough spice in it. Needs at least 3 if not 4 eggs, not the 2 listed. . Cut breasts into fingers. Drop chicken into flour. Coat well. Drop into eggs. Coat all sides. Place on breadcrumbs, then pour additional breadcrumbs over the top to coat.
I think this is a great, super easy recipe that picky people of all ages will enjoy. My only complaint is that I wish there was more flavor to the recipe. My boyfriend and I felt it was a little bland. Next time I make this recipe I will definitely be adding for seasoning.
I have made this before and it is an easy and quick meal. I add extra worchestershire and horseradish to the dipping sauce, because we like spicy foods.
Easy and tasty.
