Instructions

  1. Wet the rim of a martini glass and dip it in finely ground mixed peppercorns. Brew a small pot of strong hibiscus tea (it should be a deep reddish brown); sweeten heavily with sugar to make a syrup. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 part syrup, 2 parts whiskey or bourbon, the juice of 1/2 orange and some ice. Shake well; strain into the martini glass.
