James Bond preferred his Martini shaken not stirred.. lol.. I don’t care for gin, so this is a go-to for me!
Ronald Mosley
Martinis should be stirred, not shaken since shaking them waters down the alcohol.

This is HANDS DOWN a delicious vodka martini for those of us that can’t have gin.  Thank you, Valerie!  It’s my go-to recipe!

All these comments about a classic martini are not really correct as a CLASSIC  martini is made with Gin not vodka.

Just perfect. I added a splash of olive juice too.

I buy a bottle of extra large martini olives in vermouth, with stuffed pimentos. I remove the pimento and stuff with the Roquefort like Valerie instructs, and then store them back in the vermouth. My husband truly LOVES these!

I’m not a fan of vermouth but I do love a dirty martini with blue cheese olives.  Can’t wait to make my own blue cheese stuffed olives for my friends and I tomorrow night!!

This is the BEST way to make a martini – LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the stuffed olives. Coating the glass with just a hint of vermouth and then freezing the glass – PERFECT!!  The key is to use a premium vodka.  The olives were not messy to make, actually fun!!  This cocktail is the perfect indulgence as the other viewer mentioned.

Classic dry vodka martini, the perfect indulgence.

So, your Martini is essentially just cold vodka?
