I love this sauce!  I add in some parmesan cheese and my own meatballs.  Delicious!!  Thank you for a great, easy, easy recipe!!

It was a quick recipe to put together (but for my own personal taste, it lacked flavor, so I added some of my own, as well as using some of the other reviewers tips. I added 2 oz tomato paste, 3 tsp italian seasoning, 5 fresh basil leaves cut up and 2 fresh thyme stems. I heated it up on the stove then removed the thyme stems.

Good base sauce for me – I have cut the olive oil in half and added 3 oz tomato paste. Fresh plum tomatoes out of the garden. Simmer on low for 30 min and then I can it. Think it adds to the flavor and I like a little thicker sauce for my pizza. I can in pint jars, makes 2 12″ pizzas

Really easy and tastes great! This is the only tomato sauce my husband actually took note to compliment. I like to add a little bit of red pepper flakes for some kick.

Quick, easy, and very yummy! Everything listed was already in the pantry. Why use bottled sauce when you can make this in 5 minutes?

Absolutely loved this recipe. I bought some fresh tortellini for dinner one night and after cooking it, found I had no sauce. I googled “quick tomato sauce recipe” and this popped up. Lucky me! It was super easy, is made with ingredients I had readily available, and my family loved it. This one’s getting bookmarked for sure. Thanks!

Loved the texture and the flavor. Used crushed tomatoes instead of chopped, and dried Italian Seasoning instead of oregano. Added 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes to oil and heated for a minute or so before adding the rest of the ingredients. Simmered on low for 10 min. Next time I’ll use a little less oil, had to keep stirring it in because it kept rising to the top.
