So delicious and easy to make!!!! I’m glad I caught this episode recently, all the recipes from the episode were fantastic!!
So so good. Great for me to take to the pool in the summer. Now making it for my coworkers, who I like and know will enjoy it.
So good and yet another sandwich we now use on boat days from Valerie! So tasty and holds up great in the cooler. I didn’t change a thing the first time and it was great, but my husband loves hard salami, so I added that the next time-still great!
I made this and we devoured it! My husband even had me go back to the store to get more ingredients to make another one! It is absolutely delicious!
Very easy and flavorful. I used jambon in place of prosciutto cotto. I think the vinaigrette needs some Italian spice so will add that next time. I only had an hour to let the sandwich sit and it does need 3 to 4 hours as recommend.
These were perfect for a long road trip across country with my daughter. What a nice surprise when we stopped at a rest area for a picnic and opened up the sandwiches to be just as hearty as we had just made them. No soggy bread no wilted lettuce or basil. It was just deliciousness When we needed a quick dose of love before getting back on the road and not facing much love at all. The sandwiches were a bite of home while taking my daughter to her own new home. Thank you these will be made again, and most likely become a staple on road trips
I made this sandwich for a dinner with friends. It was a big hit. Will definitely make it again.
This sandwich rocks, truly. Served it on a hot summer day as an early dinner with homemade ice tea.
This is a gourmet sandwich and therefore not inexpensive to make. We couldn’t find prosciutto cotto so we substituted 1/2 tavern ham and 1/2 prosciutto di Parma. We also substituted Costco Rosemary focaccia which is delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc of the inability to find the Italian ham and the the overall cost of the sandwich, about $25. I would make this again and would serve it to company for a nice lunch.
Amazing simple delicious recipe ! Perfect for summer dinner!
