Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
- 6 tablespoons almond butter
- 3 tablespoons cherry preserves
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 teaspoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries, thawed and diced
- 2 5-ounce containers plain Greek or coconut yogurt
- Grated dark chocolate, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large container with a lid, combine the almond milk, almond butter, cherry preserves, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond extract and salt. Stir in the oats. Refrigerate overnight until set.
- Stir the oat mixture, then divide among four 8- to 10-ounce jars or glasses, layering the chopped cherries with the oats. Top with the yogurt and grated chocolate, if desired.
