My family devoured the taco sauce I made for them! Our tacos were elevated to a whole new level by it! Keep in a squeeze bottle made of polypropylene.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (12 ounce) package dry fettuccine pasta
  2. 1 (15 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  3. 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  4. 1 tablespoon drained capers
  5. ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  6. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  7. 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained and flaked

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Stir together Alfredo sauce, lemon juice, capers, lemon zest, and pepper in a small saucepan. Stir in tuna; cook over medium heat until heated through, about 5 minutes. Serve over fettuccine.

Easy and definitely a variation on a good classic. I actually made my own Alfredo using the “Easy Alfredo Sauce” from this site instead of using store bought one. It was fantastic. Will make it again!
