Very easy recipe. I even gotten potato rolls and it was great.
It’s excellent, easy and delicious.
Easy. Yummy. Perfect for game days.
I made it exactly as the recipe and the pulled pork was the best I’ve ever eaten!
I’ve made this several times and it never disapoints.
This is the second time that I made this recipe exactly as written. It was delicious both times, and my family (hubby, two grown sons, and a teen daughter) loved it!! I buttered and grilled the rolls just to make it a bit special, and I think next time I’ll make some cornbread to go with it. My family enjoyed the sandwiches for dinner, and then finished it off right away, the next day, for lunch. This recipe is extremely easy to make and the pork is fun to shred when it’s ready
This is seriously delicious! I used 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/2 cup bbq sauce and then reduced brown sugar to 1/4 cup. I also seasoned the pork with pepper and garlic powder. Super yummy! Highly recommend!
Turned out very good and tender! My changes to cut down on the sweetness from the reviews: 1/4 c more ketchup, 1 onion, jalapeños, and 1 small can green chilis. I set my crockpot for 10 hours on low, left it alone; perfect! Will definitely make it again!
I didn’t have a pork shoulder or butt, so I used a larger pork loin knowing it could turn out a bit dry. I almost wish that I would’ve added some extra water to compensate for using a loin instead of a shoulder or butt. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised in that after shredding the pork and mixing it into the sauce it didn’t seem as dry as it originally looked. I served it over a baked potato that I’d previously put butter and cheese on and it was quite yummy!! Next time I’ll use either the pork shoulder or butt.
Made according to recipe except reducing brown sugar as recommended by many reviewers. It was pretty good but for about the same money could get better take out from local bbq joint.
I made this at home twice now!! My husband loves it and so do I. I add BBQ sauce and my ten year old eats it up in a wheat bun! I took it to work and made it for the 11 other firefighters I work with. Huge success!!! tripled the recipie! Delicious!
First time trying the recipe. Turned out amazing!!!!!!! The only thing I would add would be real onions since I didn’t taste the onion soup mix at all.
This was so easy to make, with ingredients I already had on-hand. It was so tender and juicy!
Added a few Jalapenos and slow cooked all day!!!! Really GREAT!!!
Used diced onion instead of onion soup mix. Personally we prefer saucier pulled pork but the flavour was great!
I added celery, onions, and mushrooms chopped up along with extra garlic. Turned out delicious
Whole family loved it. Easy simple ingredients. 3 pound boneless pork loin.
I used 1/4 C brown sugar, 1/4 c cider vinegar, 1/2 c BBQ & 1/2 C Catsup, 1/2 t garlic powder, 1/4 t salt, 1/8 t pepper, 1 packet dry onion soup mix, and added 1 onion diced fine about 1/2 way in cooking time. Marinated overnight and dumped into the crockpot in the AM. 5-6 hrs on med/high.
This was a great recipe… I only made minor changes… half cup ketchup/half cup bbq sauce and instead of apple cider I used balsamic. Also I only used half the brown sugar.
After a little “doctoring up” it was excellent !! I added brown sugar, country style mustard, turbinado sugar and cooked a cinnamo
Added an extra splash of apple cider vinegar and the family loved it.
