This is a fool-proof recipe that’s easy, delicious, and an economical way to feed a crowd. I’ve made it twice now with great results. The second time I made it I was cooking for a party so I doubled it with no issues other than having to pour off some of the sauce before serving; using only one bottle of sauce would have been fine. Anyway, I like to dress up these sandwiches with pickle slices and blue cheese crumbles. The chicken mixture is also great on top of nachos.
This had a great flavor, but the best part is so few ingredients and a ready-to-serve meal with very little effort.
These were just ok for us. Thanks for sharing.
Did not turn out great at all. Tried several times, then cooked on stove and it worked.
This is awesome!!
good
This was easy and delicious! For my picky family it was a big win for me. They all loved it and asked for seconds even wanted thirds. I used SWEET BABY RAY’S BUFFALO WING SAUCE, and it still had a kick to it, but it was more like a child kick verses an adult kick lol Thanks for sharing!
This is my go to recipe for sunday night football dinner. Never disappoints! I top with blue cheese crumbles and chopped celery. Yumm!
For those who like spicy sandwiches this would be good; however, for me, this was way too hot using original Franks hot sauce. I may try again with a milder version.
Made this for the boys tonight and they just loved it. After shredding the chicken I added some creamy ranch dressing and totally forgot the butter. Put them on hoagie rolls with extra ranch and shredded mozzarella cheese. Delish
Very simple very delicious, and I don’t like chicken, that being said Im not one to follow recipe’s to exact but same concept,I used several thigh’s several Brest tenderloins 2-3 tbs of butter pack of the dry ranch dressing mix and a 12oz bottle of Parmesan garlic wing sauce, cook for 5 hrs shredded it up cut up a red onion left them in rings for about 30 mins just to tinder up…added the onion a honey vinegar base slaw and blue cheese crumbles to a homemade sweet hoagie bun..
I’ve made this three times now. Very good and easy. You need to use the lowest sodium buffalo sauce you can find as this makes a big difference. Franks is a good choice. It’s just too salty if you use one with a high sodium content.
This was so easy and my entire family loved it, it was perfect for Buffalo chicken wraps
very good, used a small amount of ranch dressing as I did not have a package of dry ranch seasoning. Made a second time as it calls for and it was good, but watery.
Made this last night for dinner it was more spicy when I first made. My family devoured the left overs the next day lol. I think next time I will add a tablespoon or two of brown sugar as it would make a great sweet and spicy sauce. One could definitely if they didn’t like the spicy Buffalo sauce could do any flavour Bbq sauce. Thank you for posting this recipe.
Love it! Simple to make and taste great. Only 4 stars because nothing is perfect.
Good and easy to make. Used Sweet Baby Rays Wing Sauce and it was amazing.
I used Frank’s Wing Sauce, low salt broth to start the slow cooker part, and it was soooo salty I had to drain the juices, thin them out, add more chicken and basically start over.
I made this recipe 10/11/20, and it was AWESOME! I couldn’t believe how good it tasted. First of all I cooked mine in a 4 qt. crockpot because it’s only me and so I perfectly guestimated how much of everything to add. But what really shocked me is because the recipe called for the Ranch Dressing mix, it gave the meat taste as if I had put Cheese in the recipe, but I didn’t. And before I ate it I took a picture and sent it to my daughter in California.
It was easy to make and we enjoyed it. Four chicken breast makes allot. We used hotdog buns and next time we will use hambuger buns.
Too spicy…possibly due to spicy sauce I bought.
