Ingredients

  1. cooking spray
  2. 4 (4 ounce) ahi tuna steaks

  6. 2 ounces minced fresh ginger, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add tuna steaks to the hot skillet and sear 90 seconds on each side. Remove tuna steaks to a plate.

  3. For a good sear, use a regular skillet (not nonstick) and do not move the tuna steaks while they cook.

This had more flavor than I expected! I served it over white rice to compliment all the flavors.
