It was great me and my family loved it 10/10
very yummy. I sauted lots of garlic.3 or 4 cloves .I also used pancetta….I think it gives a great flavor..foget the peas . I might add a little broth or milk to thin sauce slightly next time o make it. it will be soon ..my husband loved it.
This was very good and so quick to make! I added some parsley and coarse ground pepper for some added
Very good and lighter than other carbonaras I’ve made with just as much flavor.
This was very easy to make and came out really good. Thanks for the recipe
I used ham instead of bacon. Excellent and easy to make!
Made this twice so far. It’s great as-is, or you can have fun and add stuff to it. My family likes adding mushrooms to it.
Great recipe! I added some chicken thigh meat, half of a finely chopped shallot, and about a teaspoon of lemon juice to cut the fat. Will definitely be making this one again!
It needs a little more sauce. So I just increase the milk to 1 cup.
Made this from what I had on hand and it was great. I did not have peas so I substituted small broccoli flowerets. That worked great.
This was very good but I also made a few changes. I added tomato, zucchini, onion, and chicken sausage. I served it over cheese tortellini and it was a big hit with my family!
Amazing! Didn’t want to share with my husband. The idea of using the bacon grease kind of grossed me out but, wow, delicious!
I absolutely love this recipe! I like to cook bacon for Sunday morning breakfast then make this Sunday night for dinner. I add a few extra spices and double the amount of sauce for dipping with garlic bread with cheese!!!
Made this exactly as the recipe stated. Family and I didn’t care for it. My husband said it tasted unusually tangy. I think it was the cream cheese. Just not as good as a traditional carbonara recipe.
I wouldn’t change anything about this dish! It was delicious and simple to make. It takes a short time to make as well. I changed the noodles to farfalle.
I really liked this recipe. I had to change a few things because I didnt have the right ingredients. I used shrimp instead of chicken and asparragus instead of peas. I also cut the cheese in half and the other half I added heavy cream and not all the milk but some. I made about half of it and my husband loved it!! It was really delish. The bacon really does the trick! Oh and I had ran out of parm cheese so I added some 4 cheese mixture I had 🙂
Quick and easy to make. I loved the no-fuss creamy sauce and my family enjoyed this delicious meal.
A new family favorite! This was delicious. We used whipped cream cheese instead of cubed and thick sliced bacon. It was very easy to make and we had the ingredients on hand. I will definitely be making this again!
Turned out very good! I added onions and garlic to the bacon and used more bacon, then deglazed the pan with wine before adding in the milk and cream cheese. The cream cheese was lumpy and never did fully melt. An immersion blender would have been great for this. Still was very delicious, but quite “heavy”, definitely not a guilt free dinner.
I followed this recipe exactly and I thought it was delicious! I did not use the Brands mentioned though. Very flavorful and yummy!
Very delicious! I used a garlic Parmesan instead of regular, and used venison bacon instead of regular. It was easy and quick to make!!
