I already make something very similar, but I always add a shake or 2 of Chinese 5 spice and Sesame oil and I use Olive oil when stir frying!

Delicious! I definitely would heat the minced garlic and half of the onion in the pan before adding the beef, gives a great flavor. Adding a dash of Sesame Oil also helps to enhance the dish 🙂

Go with a green bell pepper. Throw the red into your mouth. The red one is too sweet for me.

Very easy to make! Substituted yellow squash for carrots. May also work over a bed of sushi rice, which I am going to try next time!

This is the type of recipe I love because you can always add to it, or tweak it; but even as-is it’s a tasty meal! I used the meat I had on hand, which turned out to be thin-cut bottom round steak. When I say thin, I mean thin! It only took 5 minutes to cook all 8 steaks. I was worried they would be tough, but they weren’t. Marinating took care of that. I added regular onion because my husband used the green ones we had. I also added snow peas, large portabella mushrooms that I broke up somewhat, some cabbage, and chopped sprouts. My soy sauce bottle fell off the counter and broke while I was chopping veggies, so I used teriyaki and hoisin. I also added a little ginger. It is a delicious recipe, and I really am glad I found it. My husband and I thank you!

I used shredded beef so it cooked quickly. I only had frozen broccoli, carrots, & cauliflower. So I microwaved the veggies for 2 min. before putting them in with the cooked meat to complete cooking them. I thought the recipe needed more soy so I added 1 TBS extra. I also added 1 TBS of Sambal Oelek to make it spicier! We enjoyed it! Thank you for posting it!

This is a perfect stir-fry starter. It’s definitely something I would suggest beginner cooks to attempt. I altered it a little bit due to comments mentioning it a little flavourless. Instead of 2 x table spoons of soy sauce, I opted for 1 x tblsp of soy sauce and 1 x tblsp of teriyaki sauce. I also used sesame oil and let the meat marinate in a few cracks of pepper and salt whilst I chopped everything. I also added ginger and honey as well.

I used a Beef Chuck Roast cut into 2 inch strips. It was really good. Saved myself a little money Too!

Missing all the flavor. Recommend adding a sweetener (mirin, brown sugar, maple syrup), some ginger, and maybe Sriracha. Definitely season the meat with salt and pepper at a bare minimum. Seasame oil has better flavor than vegetable.

Used leftover Korean BBQ brisket from Costco, added two table spoons of fresh ginger, used 8 oz of sliced mushrooms cooked ahead of time with salt and pepper. Also a bulb of garlic (you can never have too much garlic). Came out great will definitely put this in my arsenal to use leftover meats.

We made this recipe today, it was delicious and very easy to make. I had to to use another cut of meat as there wasn’t sirloin beef in the supermarket. We really enjoyed it, I recommend to try this recipe if you’re looking for something quick and easy to make!
