You only need a whole chicken, beer, butter, and seasonings to make this beer butter chicken. On the grill, the chicken is seasoned and cooked gradually. Although a little unconventional, the end product is moist and tasty.

Reviews
My family absolutely LOVED it.
I modified this recipe a lot after reading other reviews. I did manage to do it all in a single 12 inch cast iron fry pan, including the potatoes, which I precooked for five minutes with the sauce. My mixture was boiling hot when I put it in the oven, so I reduced the oven temp. to 325 degrees for the times recommended in the recipe. Was absolutely delicious, the pork was fork tender, and I will make this again. I had lots of gravy, but we ate all the potatoes. Will serve the leftovers with garlic mashed potatoes. Yum! Don’t be afraid to salt and pepper the pork chops before browning. I used garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper. Thank you!
Great recipe. But I like a creamy sauce so I added 3/4 cup heavy cream when I added the chicken broth. And I did double the recipe for company. They had 3 helpings each. Hubby and I had 2. Best comfort food.
I cut back the amounts because it was just for two. It was so delicious. The thickened broth gave those potatoes such a rich flavor. Pork chops were tender but little bit dry. Will be making this again.
Really really good! Definitely will make it again. I used a bag of frozen cubed potatoes and it turned out awesome.
I’ve made this exact recipe many times and it always turns out perfect. However, often times I’ll add a package of dry French onion soup mix when I make the gravy. This just adds something extra and makes the dish amazing.
Tender chops! Very tasty. I seasoned the chops to my taste and Then lightly floured the chops before browning them. I cooked the potatoes in the broth mixture on the stovetop while I browned the chops. Then I placed half the chops on the bottom of the dish, poured on the potatoes, covered them with the remaining three chops, and baked covered for 45 :minutes. Delicious.
My family loves this fish! I did make a double batch of the gravy one my favorite meals on this website!!
made smaller amount but loved it
This was pretty good. Followed the directions. Next time, I will let potatoes cook a bit then put chops on top. The pork chops were a little dry.
For two…2 boneless pork chops, 4 small russet potatoes, thinly sliced onion, small amount of white cheddar and sauce the same as recipe calls for which was perfect! Read comments and put sliced potatoes on bottom. Covered with foil and baked 1 hour at 375 on convection bake. Uncovered and baked an additional 10 mins. My husband gave it a 4,bit I give it a 5 for fast, easy and delicious!
Easy to make and delicious.
Easy to make with a mandolin. Used cream of chicken with a half can of milk and half can of beef broth. We like our potatoes creamy and we had lots of sauce to spoon over broccoli. Cooked potatoes 45 minutes, browned pork chops with seasonings, and then added on top of potatoes covered for 30 minutes then uncovered 15. It was juicy and flavourful.
The whole family loved this….put the potatoes on top of the pork chops, but otherwise followed the recipe. Definitely a keeper!!
I was out of chicken broth so used water and a packet of of pork gravy powder. It was amazing. Put chops on top for first hour….when it was time to uncover, I buried them in the potatoes. I also added a sliced onion. It was delicious! Thanks for the great recipe
Yes! I actually combined two pork chop recipies, this one, and the Italian breaded pork chops, it was perfect!! Served it with fresh steamed green beans, n it was awesome! Definitely making this again!!!
Delicious! We make it all the time!
Recipe not showing up.
One of my favorite regular dishes. I do increase the gravy, I really like gravy haha
omg! What a delicious recipe. Hubby and I loved it. After I fried the pork chops, I sliced the potatoes right in the same skillet so that the ingredients absorbed more flavor. Also, I added some onion flakes to gravy and one chicken bouillon after it came to a boil. Pork chops were tender and tasty. Will make this again.
So good. I used bone in chops and only just barely seared in cast iron fryer before adding to casserole. Baked at 400 degrees for 45 minutes because I was behind in making dinner and then cover off for 15 minutes. So good!
